This project involved the reconstruction of multiple ramps including Ramps A, B, C, E, G, and H with new alignments, along with significant earthwork, drainage improvements, and traffic control measures. The scope also included the installation of updated signage, striping, interchange lighting systems, and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) improvements.Additional structural work included the construction of retaining walls, barrier walls separating Ramp E from the mainline northbound I-94, and improvements to guardrails to enhance roadway safety and functionality.

The project also addressed several roadway and facility improvements across the toll plaza areas. Work included parking lot rehabilitation, HMA resurfacing with minor pavement patching, crack routing and sealing, and drainage system upgrades at multiple toll plazas including I-94 Toll Plazas 21 and 24 as well as I-294 Toll Plaza 33 and Maintenance Yard M-3. These improvements were designed to extend pavement life, improve drainage performance, and maintain safe and efficient traffic operations.

Additional structural and infrastructure upgrades included repairs to plaza canopy structures, replacement of an existing flat roof canopy with a monotube structure, and relocation of communication infrastructure such as antennas and wiring. The project also included repairs and replacements of guardrails, gutters, roadway lighting systems, CCTV and RTMS poles, drainage structures, and other supporting infrastructure, all carried out while maintaining traffic operations in accordance with tollway specifications and safety standards.
